What If Our Team Is Under Budget At The End of The Season? Our Administrators attempt to budget as close to actual numbers as possible. However, we will allow +/margin of error to allow for coverage of the unexpected expenses. Any funds remaining will be divided by the team per player with an option of refund or roll over into the next season. Q. Do you offer payment options? A. Yes, we understand it can be difficult to make payments in particular in the spring right after the Christmas Holidays as well as the fall right after school shopping family vacations etc. Our payment options are usually layered within 3-4 payments. With payment 1, January X, Payment 2 February X and Payment 3 March X. Typically your first payment will be your deposit after accepting the offer. We may have other payments tied in or around the 3 payments to help cover other agreements such as indoor use. 1 After teams are assembled, a schedule of payments will be provided. Any issues with making payments must be discussed with the coach and/ or Team Admin. We encourage every player to understand the overall impact of non-payments. Lack of or slow payment could impact a coach getting paid, outdoor practices being reserved, tournaments being reserved etc. Q. Are payments required if an offer is extended or accepted? A. Yes, we may request $200.00 if you accept the offer. In an effort to allow us to assemble a team, we could make an offer to players as early as the next day after the tryouts. This will be reduced in your overall payment plan. Q. Is fundraising allowed by teams or conducted by the organization? A. Yes, we strongly encourage teams to fundraise before the start of the season, during the season while rolling into other seasons to help offset costs. On occasion, the 42 Baseball Academy may hold fundraisers to help support the teams and or scholarships fund. Contracts All players and parents will be required to sign contracts and/or agreements that include but is not limited to: Parent Code of Conduct Player Code of Conduct Guest Playing, or Participating in other sports during the season Financial Agreements Who Is Coaching My Son’s Team. Our goal is to have the highest credentialed or experienced coaches to coach the higher level teams. However, all of our lower level coaches are mentored and trained by our higher level coaches to ensure those teams are getting the best product. At times the lead coaches may run practices observe games etc. Our lead coaches will decide who coaches any team at any level. However, usually during our tryouts the coaches you observe could very well be a coach. What Level Is My Player? We understand that letters and words such as AA, AAA and Majors play a huge role in how baseball society views teams or players. However, our lead coach makes it a habit to ask parents to focus more on the player’s core development on mechanics and leave those letters up to the MLB. 2
