Dear Food & Beverage Vendors,
Discover Presque Isle (DPI), is an annual three day celebration of Presque Isle State Park and serves
as the Presque Isle Partnership’s largest annual fundraiser. The purpose of the weekend is to
bring awareness to the diverse natural ecosystems throughout the park and the numerous recreational
opportunities it offers, and to educate visitors on the importance of preserving our natural environment.
Over the past five years, attendance has estimated to average more than 100,000 throughout the event.
The celebration occupies key points throughout the 3,200 acres peninsula such as Beach 11 where one will
encounter the Arts & Craft Show, food and beverage vendors, take part in family friendly nature
awareness activities, experience live music on the beach and a sand sculpture competition, and enjoy a
giant bonfire. Visitors can tour the Presque Isle Lighthouse, take a free boat tour of the lagoons and learn
about the plants, animals and fish that inhabit the park.
This year will mark the 26th anniversary of the three day celebration of Presque Isle State Park. The official
dates and exhibit times for Discover Presque Isle Craft Show 2017 are as follows:

10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
The layout this year will be in a horseshoe pattern to give the patrons a full view of the
different food and beverage options available before making their decision.
All food & beverage vendors need to submit a one or two page document with photos of your set-up to be
juried for your admittance into the show. Please do not send actual photographs as they are expensive
and bulky. All food vendors need to submit the photo document and a menu of items to be sold with
prices along with your application, even if you have been a vendor in the past.
The deadline to receive the documents and attached application is April 1, 2017.DO NOT SEND
PAYMENT WITH YOUR APPLICATION.
Upon acceptance into the show you will receive notice and an invoice for the amount due via email.

IMPORTANT GUIDELINES to keep in mind as you consider applying to be part of the show:
1. As stated earlier, this year the food court area will be set-up in a horseshoe pattern to give
the patrons a full view of the different food and beverage options available before making
their decision.
2. This event occurs rain or shine. Be prepared for wind, rain and/or heat/cold.
3. This is an outdoor show. No refunds will be issued in the event of inclement weather.
4. All vendor fees are non-refundable.
5. All food/beverage vendors are required to donate three $5 gift certificates good towards
purchases at their booth.
6. All vendor location requests will be considered on a first come/first serve basis and honored whenever
possible. Final placement of vendors is at the full discretion of the committee/no exceptions.
7. Please remember to provide a photo document of your set-up.
8. Attach a full menu of the items you wish to sell with prices. Before acceptance, your menu will
be sent back to you with the items you are permitted to sell circled & highlighted. Any items you will
not be permitted to sell will be crossed off. If you agree to the menu, sign it and mail it back. This
mutually agreed upon menu will be checked each day of the event. It is our intent to limit duplication
of items at multiple locations. Failure to follow your mutually approved menu will result in your
removal from the event without a refund.
9. Single food vendors will be given one parking pass and multiple food vendors will be given two. These
passes must be displayed at all times on your dashboard while parked directly behind your set-up.
Unauthorized vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense. (Sorry, but space is limited.)
10. Due to the move to Beach 11, all electricity needs will be addressed by Zero Fossil.
11. Booths must be completely set-up by 11am on Friday, July 28th, 2017 (No Exceptions.)
12. No signs, tables, condiments or products to be set up beyond the line marking the vendor space.
13. Vendors will have from 4-6pm to pack-up on Sunday, July 30th, 2017 & must be off the park by 7pm.
14. Each vendor is responsible for leaving their area in the condition that it was originally received, i.e.
removal of all debris such as boxes, food, and trash. Failure to do so will reflect upon you for future
consideration/acceptance in the show.
15. Vendor Registration Forms must be received by April 1, 2017.
16. DO NOT SEND PAYMENT WITH YOUR APPLICATION. Upon final acceptance into the show, you
will receive notice and an invoice for the amount due via email.
17. Be sure to include your set-up dimensions on the application.
18. Remember to enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope.

bonds, specialties, covenants, contracts, controversies, agreements, promises, doings, omissions, variances,
extents, execution and liabilities whatsoever including, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, claims
for contribution, exoneration or indemnity, or any other thing whatsoever which might arise from the
undersigned participation in the Discover Presque Isle Craft Show .
The undersigned acknowledges that he/she has read and understood the foregoing, and that he/she has been
advised to consult with an attorney if he/she has any questions and further acknowledges that he/she must abide
by all the RULES of the Discover Presque Isle Craft Show.
RULES:
• ALL ITEMS DISPLAYED AND SOLD MUST BE HANDCRAFTED BY THE EXHIBITOR
• No exhibitor may use the PRESQUE ISLE PARTNERSHIP logo without the prior approval of the
Executive Director of the Presque Isle Partnership.
• Exhibitors will not be allowed to nail, screw or attach anything to trees, signs, historical items/fixtures, etc.
• All displays must look professional, clean and safe for customers.
• All trash must be placed in the trash receptacles provided.
• No alcoholic beverages or drugs will be permitted.
• Exhibitor dogs MUST be on a leash.
• All exhibitors must be open Friday 12pm-8pm, Saturday 10am-8pm, and Sunday 10am-4pm.
• No refund will be given to exhibitors requesting to leave early.
• The Craft Show committee reserves the right to remove anyone not complying with the rules.
