UZI ARAD
Uzi Arad, former National Security Advisor and former Head of the Israeli National
Security Council, is a prominent strategist and figure in both foreign policy and
security. Prof. Arad served as Director of Research for the Mossad and subsequently
as a Foreign Policy Advisor for Prime Minister Netanyahu. Prof. Arad is a professor
at the Lauder School of Government, Diplomacy, and Strategy at the Interdisciplinary
Center, Herzliya and the founding director of the Institute for Policy and Strategy. He
also established and chaired the annual Herzliya Conference which focuses on
international policy, convening Israeli and international leaders, experts, and policy
makers.
DAVID ARISON
David Arison, serves as CEO of The Doing Good Model Organization at the Arison
Group, and as VP of Global Relations at Arison Investments and at The Ted Arison
Family Foundation. This unique values-driven model is implemented across ail the
Arison Group's companies and organizations, to create positive impact on ail levels:
social, environmental, and economic.
Prior to his current positions, David Arison served as VP of Global Business
Relations at Miya, Arison Investment's global water efficiency company.
David Arison holds a BA in Business from the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya (IDC)
in Israel, where he also serves as a board member of this prestigious academie
institution.
SHlOMO AVINERI
Israeli political scientist, Professor of Polital Sciences at the Hebrew University of
Jerusalem and member of the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities, Avineri
has written extensively on the early Zionist political theories of Moses
Hess and Theodor Herzl. He has also written numerous books and articles on Middle
Eastern affairs and international affairs.
Avineri was also involved in the debate over the dissolution of the Soviet Union. His
recent intellectual biography of Herzl shows how developments in his native AustroHungarian Empire, rather than the Dreyfus Affair in France, convinced Herzl of the
failure of Jewish emancipation in Europe and of the need to find a political solution
for the Jews, based on national self-determination, outside of Europe.
Avineri is the recipient of many honors and awards including: A British
Council Scholarship (1961); The Rubin Prize in the Social Sciences (1968); The
Naphtali Prize for the study of Hegel (1977);The Present Tense Award for the Study
of Zionism (1982);The Israel Prize (1996), for political science; ln 2006, he received
the Israel Political Science Association Award for his contribution to the discipline in
Israel and abroad.
YONA BARTAL
Late President Shimon Peres' right hand, who accompanied him for over 21 years,

DANIEL (DANNY) BREN
Brig. Gen. (res.) Daniel (Danny) Bren was the Commander of the Force Build-Up &
Cyber Defense Divisions of the IDF C41 Directorate. He is an expert in cyber
defense and cryptography, as weil as digital IT, web technologies and
communication (terrestrial, cellular and satellite). Bren has over twenty-five years of
experience in research, development, system engineering, threat analysis, creating
and tailoring proactive defensive solutions, construction and operation of systems
and solutions for telecommunications.
STELIO CAMPANALE (FICAC)
Honorary Consul of Greece in Apulia Region, Italy. Regional Chairman for Southern
Europe of FICAC; Co-Chairman of FICAC Legal Committee; Co-Chairman of FICAC
Honorary Consuls Security Committee.
Degree in Law, from Università degli Studi di Bari, cum laude; Lawyer and
accounting auditor.
Law lecturer in International Private Law and in International Trade Law at LUM Jean
Monnet University of Bari, Italy, from year 2002 to present.
Independent Director of the Board of Directors in several Italian and foreign
companies. President of supervisory and compliance bodies in several companies,
including one listed to NYSE. Statutory Auditor and member of accounting councils of
several Italian companies. Speaker at various seminars, workshops and masters of
international trade, company law and corporate governance. Chairman of GreekItalian Business Chamber, Rome, Italy. He has been bestowed the title of Knight of
the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem
JOSEPH CIECHANOVER
Founder, Consultant, President and Member of the Investment Committee at The
Challenge Fund - Etgar L.P. and Founder, President, and Member of Investment

L.P., The Challenge Fund - Etgar L.P.
He has extensive experience managing and investing in companies in Israel. He also
had experience in the United States investing in Israel related companies.
Dr. Ciechanover is a representative of Israel in negotiations with Turkey on renewal
of diplomatie relations in 2017.
EITAN DANGOT
Eitan Dangot is the Coordinator of Government Activities in the territories (or
COGAT), a unit in the Israeli Ministry of Defense that engages in coordinating civilian
issues between the Government of Israel, the Israel Defense Forces, international
organizations, diplomats, and the Palestinian Authority.
COGAT is responsible for implementing the Israeli government's policy in the Area C
of the West Bank and vis-à-vis the Gaza Strip. ln addition, COGAT constitutes the
civilian authority for residential zoning and infrastructure and is responsible for
addressing the needs of Israeli settlements in the West Bank. The Unit constitutes a
focal point of knowledge that combines human quality and advanced technology. It
coordinates the activities of government departments, I.D.F and security forces vis-àvis the Palestinians in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
ELAINE MONICA DAVIS ITON (FICAC)

ODED FIXlER
Deputy Director General of the Israel Water Authority since 2008 and was the acting
Director General from March to August 2011. As Deputy Director of the Israel Water
Authority, he is in charge of Sea Water Desalination and the development of Israel's
water sector. He is the head of tender committee and acts as the Co-Chairman in the
Joint Water Committee of Jordan-Israel and Palestinian Authority-Israel. From 2002
to 2008 he was the head of the Development Division at the Water Authority and was
in charge of the development of water supply systems, including brackish water
desalination facilities, and flat and deep drilling projects. Previously, he has been
Senior Deputy General Manager (Property, Construction and Maintenance Division)
at the Bank Leumi Ltd. and CEO and Director at Binyaney Bank Ltd., Lyn City Center
Ltd and Nadlan Ltd.
NIKOLAOS K. MARGAROPOULOS

Secretary General of the World Federation of Consuls (FICAC); Honorary Consul of
the Philippines in Thessaloniki - Greece since 1996.
He has been bestowed the title of Cavaliere (Knight) dell' Ordine della Stella della
Solidarieta Italiana, by the President of the Italian Republic and the FICAC Medal of
Honour. ln 2016 he received fram H.E. Jose Rene D. Almendras, Secretary of
Foreign Affairs of the Philippines, Certificate of Recognition for his 20 years of
service to the DFA.

SAUlSINGER
Singer is a columnist and former editorial page editor at The Jerusalem Post. He has
also been published in The Wall Street Journal, Commentary, Moment, The New
Leader and The Washington Post blog "PostGlobal".
Singer wrote with Dan Senor Start-up Nation: The Story of Israel's Economic Miracle,
a best-seller which investigates Israel's innovative prowess.
Before immigrating to Israel, Singer served as an adviser in the United States
Congress to the House Foreign Affairs and Senate Banking Committees.
YOSSI VARDI
An Israeli entrepreneur and investor. He is one of Israel's first hightech entrepreneurs. He was sent to the U.S. to serve as the Director of the
Investment Authority in North America, and Consul For Economic Affairs of the State
of Israel in New York. ln that capacity he took part in the creation of the Israel-U.S.
Binational Industrial Research and Development Foundation (BIRD-F). He acted as
an advisor to the Israeli mission to the U.N.
Upon returning to Israel, he served as the first Director General of the Ministry of
Energy. He is the Co-Chair of the European Union - Israel Strategic Business
Dialogue. He chaired a number of government-appointed commissions and
committees.
ln his capacity as the Director General of the Ministry of Energy, Vardi led the
negotiations in regards to the oil part in the peace agreement with Egypt. He also
participated in the multi-lateral talks with the Palestinians, and served on the Israeli
delegation to the Wye Plantation talks with the Syrians.

Mr. Efraim Halevy, Former Head of the Mossad
Efraim Halevy is a prominent
lawyer, author, and Israeli Intelligence
expert.
A former director of the Mossad and Head of the Israeli National Security
Council, Mr. Halevy played a crucial role in the Israel-Jordanian Peace Treaty.
His diplomatic relationship with King Hussein was not the first of its kind, as
Mr. Halevy also served as the Israeli Ambassador to the European Union.
Currently Mr. Halevy serves as Chairman of the Israel Intelligence
and Commemoration
Heritage
Centre, The Shasha Centre for Strategie Studies, and
the Shorashim Program. Throughout
his career and until today, Mr. Halevy
has taken a firm stance on matters of diplomacy, advocating for respect and
dignity. Mr. Halevy is a strong believer in the relationship between advocacy
and policy.
Mr. Zalman Shoval, Former Ambassador
to the United States (twice)
Zalman Shoval, a lifetime politician and diplomat, began his career working
in the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs. ln ~970 Mr. Shoval first joined the
Israeli Knesset; he then served as a member of Israel's delegation
to the
United Nations, and later was placed in charge of the International
PR and
information
aspects of the Camp David Conference.
Mr. Shoval eventually
resigned from the Knesset to serve as ambassador to the United States,
which he did for two terms. Mr. Shoval was intimately
involved in matters
relating to the Gulf War and has extensive experience in negotiations
with
Jordanians and Palestinians. Mr. Shoval is a founder of the Moshe Dayan
Public forum for Political and Social Questions as weil as the Dayan Center
for Middle Eastern Studies atTel Aviv University. He currently serves on the
Board of Trustees of both Tel Aviv University and Ben Gurion University;
member of the Dayan Center, and of the International
the Ariel University Center of Samaria.
