An introduction to the structure and function of the human cardiovascular, respiratory,
gastrointestinal, renal/urinary and reproductive systems including organ development.
The paper is intended for students who have passed the on-line guided learning modules (GLMs)
and lab check-outs in the Semester Two HUBS 192 paper but failed the paper with a D grade or
FAIL (internal assessment plus final exam) and gained at least 30% in the final exam. This paper
will be identical in lecture content to Semester Two HUBS 192 but with additional compulsory
tutorial work. There is no laboratory component. The GLMs and laboratory check out marks
obtained from the Semester Two paper will NOT be carried over to the Summer School paper.
Prerequisites
HUBS 191 and students must have passed both the guided learning modules and lab check-outs,
gained at least 30% in the final exam, obtained a D grade or FAIL overall in HUBS 192 in
Semester Two of the previous year and passed 5 out of 7 papers (or 70% of papers) in the
previous year.
Students taking HUBS 192 in Summer School are strongly discouraged from enrolling in a
