Piers Morgan’s Life Stories
28th January 3rd February
2017
Friday 3rd February, 9pm
Piers Morgan returns to host a new series of intimate interviews
with big name guests, all conducted in front of a live studio
audience. Guests in the last series included US pop-soul singer
Lionel Richie, punk pioneer John Lydon and Olympic hero Mo
Farah, who all fielded questions from Piers delivered in his own
inimitable interviewing style. Piers is certainly not afraid to ask
the questions everybody would like to ask, making for compelling
viewing as a host of stars open up about their intimate private
lives.
Piers's first guest of this new run of shows is BARRY GIBB.
Barry Gibb of the Bee Gees joins Piers Morgan to look back on
his fifty-year career as a songwriter and pop legend.
He reflects on the untimely deaths of all three of his younger
brothers - Robin, Maurice and Andy - and how he’s come to terms
with being the last surviving member of the Bee Gees.
Barry tells Piers how the group rose from child performers to global superstars in the wake of the
Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. He reveals how a childhood accident nearly killed him, what really
happened when he and his future wife sneaked into Dr Who's Tardis and gives his verdict when
Piers serenades him with his falsetto voice.
Tales from the Coast with Robson
Green
Tuesday 31st January, 8pm
In this new series, Robson Green travels along some of the nation’s most fascinating stretches of
coastline to discover just what it is about our shoreline that continues to cast its spell. Britain has
one of the most varied coastal landscapes in the world - from
sweeping sands and rugged cliffs to mudflats and spits. It is
home to colourful seaside towns and historic fishing villages.
In the first episode, Robson visits the shores of North Devon,
the location of some of his most precious childhood holidays,
where he traces the origins of the British love affair with the
coast. It proves to be a journey filled with drama and surprises
at every turn. At Ilfracombe, he finds out how miners dug a
network of tunnels through the cliffs to enable Victorian
holidaymakers to access the beach and its tidal pool. Robson
takes a bracing cold-water swim in it and hears about the
Victorians’ passion for sea bathing. His next stop is Clovelly,
one of Britain’s best-preserved fishing villages, where he
unwittingly finds himself involved in a dramatic clifftop rescue
mission. Finally, Robson goes back to basics on the tiny island
of Lundy, where he has a scary encounter with an Atlantic grey
seal and attempts to climb a 400-foot high sea cliff nicknamed
the Devil’s Slide.

Sunday 29th January, 8pm
The police drama set in 1960s Oxford and following the
work of one Endeavour Morse (Shaun Evans), as he

episode of the current series, Harvest, a 2,000-year-old
body is discovered on boggy Bramford Mere, revealing a
new lead in the missing persons case of Dr Matthew
Laxman (Alex Mann). Almost five years to the day since
Laxman disappeared, Endeavour and DI Thursday

They re-interview the curious inhabitants of Bramford
Village and questions immediately arise as to whether Laxman’s disappearance is connected to the
upcoming Autumn Equinox, a pagan ritual to celebrate the harvest. But there are greater schemes
at play, and Endeavour soon finds himself caught in a maelstrom. Inquiries into the Laxman case
bring him to Bramford B, a nuclear power station that is about to launch its groundbreaking new
reactor “Goldenrod” on the day of the Equinox. Endeavour’s probe into the power station is met with
a stone wall of silence, but soon a shocking development at the power station plunges Oxford into

Through the Keyhole
Saturday 28th January, 9.30pm
Comedy character Keith Lemon continues
to present the fourth series of the revived
classic game show. Through the Keyhole
was first made famous as a breakfast
television feature over thirty years ago by
David Frost and Loyd Grossman,
becoming a full show in its own right in
1987. The overall concept remains the
same in this 21st century version of the
series, as mischievous Yorkshireman Keith
uses his cheeky charm in order to access
the homes of the rich and famous and get
a good snoop around, describing what he
sees to a panel of three celebrity guests. With the help of the studio audience, the panellists must
use their powers of deduction and observation to guess the famous owner of each residence as
Keith is let loose amongst their most treasured possessions. On Keith’s panel this week are TV
presenters Caroline Flack and Dave Berry and comedian Paddy McGuinness, but whose homes will
be open to Keith’s less-than-delicate probing this time?
