Essential Question
How long does it take the Earth to revolve around the
sun?
 How long does it take the Earth to complete one rotation
on its axis?

Vocabulary:
 To rotate is to spin around.
 An axis is an imaginary line around with Earth spins.
 To revolve is to move around another object.
 A phase is a lighted part of the moon as it appears from
Earth.
