We will have 3 sessions and get all teacher websites populated with minimum requirements? d. Shared ownership of teachers website Parent Comments: The web sites for each teacher have been very frustrating this year. Some sites I am not allowed to view. Have called numerous times throughout the year and still all are not available to me to see homework. This year has been very difficult with the 1:1 technology for one of my children mainly due to each teacher having a different style in posting materials, calendar items, etc... The inconsistency in style and actually in if teachers post assignments at all is very frustrating and troublesome. This biggest problem I have with this push to use more technology in the classroom is that there is no consistency between teachers. This is evident on their homepagessome are used others are not updated. I think our students benefit from the use of technology in the classroom and I think it is crucial for the school/teachers to communicate with parents/families/students via technology. In the past we gave loaner to a district rental student until his chromebook is repaired, if student does not have damages. What happens if the loaner is broken due to negligence or accident? What if parent does not want to pay or cannot pay repair chargers? Impact of not having a device on learning when it is being fixed for up to 7 days? Having extra Ac adapters in classrooms? in media ●

Comment form on website center? We need at least 3 types New policy effective immediately is not to give loaner if the parent has not paid at least one repair charge. If a family of 3 kids with all having at least $79 damages and if participating in F/R lunch, chances of collecting repair charges is slim to none. Fine line sometimes between accidental/negligent and manufacturer’s defect Would like to offer a more sturdy device for next year Some parents have expressed interest in having an apple laptop and/or Windows 8 device/more sturdier chromebook as one of the options for Best Buy Dover Eyota has one. Board would like us to see about putting something like this in place. Video cameras on busses Ready is interested thoughts? Free Wireless and cell phones Forwarded email to Steering group
