General Members:
1. Call to Order with Introductions.
2. Attendance taken by Secretary.
3. Last meeting’s minutes approved.
4. Report by the ECC Chair
a. People will be notified soon about the results of No Shave November.
b. Hopefully, people filled out the mid-term evaluations.
c. Abby wants to make ECC t-shirts! Let’s think of some designs and send them to
her!
d. Our first meeting next semester is 1/21.
5. Report by ECC Vice-Chair, Programs
a. Free Store
b. Nature Walk and Clean-Up Sunday is now this Saturday at 9PM because of the
weather 2 weeks ago.
c. Trash to Treasure is happening this semester now too. You can find them in all
the residence halls, and representatives should be checking the box. Once they
are full, we will move them upstairs for Free Store.
6. Report by ECC Vice-Chair, Campaigns
a. CSFC Update: Abby is creating a survey to send to the student body to see if
students are still interested in our composting system. William is also talking to
UCA to explore food recovery options. We are looking at alternatives to the
compositing system like donating our waste to companies like American
Composting.
b. Progress reports, otherwise referred to as Glow and Grows, will be sent to the
representatives at the end of this semester.
c. Please remember to turn in your housing reports to your respective senators.
7. Position of Responsibility reports:
a. Report by ECC Hardin Hall Representative
i. Evan wants to look at sustainable building policies on campus.
ii. The pots for the gazebo/wall will be made next semester.
b. Report by ECC Martin Hall Representative
i. Not present.
c. Report by ECC Couch Hall Representative
i. Lauren wants to investigate Hendrix’s use of chemicals and pesticides.
She will email someone from facilities a list of appropriate questions to
get some answers. She will later set up a meeting.
d. Report by ECC Raney Hall Representative
i. Allison is still working on the recycling bin inventory.
e. Report by ECC Veasey Hall Representative
i. Emma is using passive-aggressiveness to motivate Veasey girls to recycle.
f. Report by ECC Galloway Hall Representative
i. Nothing to report.

h. Report by ECC Apartments Representative
i. Coco will work with Miranda on craft projects. She hopes to have crafting
times once a month. Her main goal is make enough crafts to sell them at
the Holiday Bazaar.
ii. The green house is completely destroyed, and it’s disappointing.
i. Report by ECC Market Square/Off-Campus Representative
i. Miranda wants to do Energy Use displays.
j. Report by Members At Large
i. Eric is working on toner cartridge recycling. He is also doing a report on
lightbulb recycling. They are working on getting all mobile printing double
sided.
k. Report by ECC New Student Representative
i. Megan wants to phase out the use of plastic bags at the bookstore.
l. Report by Secretary
i. Evan and Erica will be showing a film about fracking called Gasland for
their collaborative meeting.
