Important Information for Participants
We rely on your appreciation of cycling history to keep any further modifications within the spirit of the event.
The rider carries the responsibility of ensuring the suitability of the machine being ridden, and we reserve the
right to reject any machine which we consider unsafe for events.
Personal insurance is your individual concern. The QPFAHCC has public liability insurance for events it runs
and participates in.
Costumes should be in keeping with the style of the 1880’s where possible or more recent for the Tweed Ride.
For the stack the sky is the limit on how fancy you want to go but black pants and white top always looks good
we will have a specific photo of all those with black/white outfits. Modern lycra gear is to be avoided for the
stack and tweed ride, we are trying to recreate the aura of an era past.
Australian law requires that helmets meeting Australian standards must be worn whenever a bicycle is ridden.
