OneDrive Libraries to your

Sync OneDrive libraries to your computer and then access your library files in File Explorer instead of
in a web browser. All updates sync to OneDrive for Business or site libraries whenever you’re online.
NOTE To use this feature, you must have the OneDrive for Business sync app, available with Office
2013, which will be automatically installed on your UEA computer (staff only). If you do not have Office
2013 (e.g. on your personal computer equipment), you can either:


Download the OneDrive for Business sync app (free for all). If you install the app on multiple
devices they will keep in sync whenever online. Applications are also available for mobile
devices.
Students Only: install Microsoft Office 2013 on your own devices by using Student
Advantage to download your free copy. See

Microsoft Office 2013 suite contains the OneDrive for Business sync application
Sync your OneDrive library to your computer
1. In a web browser, sign in to Office 365
2. Select OneDrive at the top of the page to go to OneDrive @ University of East Anglia
3. Select the Sync button

4. At the prompt, click Sync Now to start the sync app wizard. The wizard automatically fills in
the name and web address of your OneDrive library.
5. Select Sync Now in the wizard to start syncing. You can click Show my files… in the wizard to
open the synced OneDrive library folder in File Explorer. The folder is listed in your Favourites
with the name “OneDrive @ University of East Anglia”
