The Web of Life If you come across a spider web stop

The Web of Life
If you come across a spider web stop and
meditate for a while on its beauty. Get
lost in the web’s intricate patterning.
Think of the spider’s care and agility to
navigate the directional lines to create a
true work of art. Think of all the ins and
outs; the twists, turns and connections all
around those straight lines and let them
represent the clear, strong thoughts of
what you are manifesting currently in your life. The ideas are being held fast but flexible
enough to shift and adjust to outside circumstances if need be. The pattern of these
connections helps to create the web of your life.
If you are lucky enough to come across a spider spinning her web, please stop and
spend the time to watch her process and progress. The “big picture” of her creation
forms rapidly. Never being discouraged, persevering through her short falls and
tumbles; she gathers her silk and returns to the job at hand. The result is an exquisite
creation; functional in its beauty.
So too can you create the beautiful connections and patterns in your life. Adopt spider’s
attitude and persevere. Never lose sight of your talents and strengths. Hold them fast.
Embrace your flexibility to ride the winds of your existence. Never be deterred from
weaving the webs in your life. And with each new web, step back and see your web in
connection to the world around you. Step further back and see the connections to
generations past and the future generations. See yourself traversing time and space and
acknowledge generations you are part of; past, present and future. This lifetime is one
but many.
So too each lifetime has connections to others having their own connections. I recently
had the lovely experience of spending a joyful weekend filled with connections of its
own. Some connections were threaded within my past webs and some connections
made will be threaded into my future webs. One thing I am sure of: These are
connections filled with understanding, respect and love. Our future webs will repeatedly
find each other. A spider’s work continues on.
Each lifetime prepares you for the lifetimes of the future. You are always a loving
spider’s web of connections. No matter what directions you choose to take, connections
are there to support you and you them. Spider herself brings you a timeless gift. This
gift is of knowing that, like a spider’s figure eight body, you are a special, infinite being.
And like a spider’s eight legs, the four winds may blow you in the four directions but the
connections hold fast.
With Gratitude,
Kai
