MACHEREY-NAGEL · Company updates
MACHEREY-NAGEL – Quality, innovation, and support
Since 1911, MACHEREY-NAGEL stands for highly reliable analytical products made in Germany. Based on
more than 100 years of experience, the company has focused on continuous improvement and innovations to
offer up-to-date solutions of outstanding quality.
MACHEREY-NAGEL –
Facilities and resources
Throughout MACHEREY-NAGEL’s centennial history, the companyʼs facilities have constantly been adapted and renewed. Just
recently the production and the warehouse facilities have been
modernized and enlarged. State-of-the-art high-quality equipment
meets optimal production and delivery requirements.
MN headquarters in Düren, Germany
To share our long lasting knowledge and expertise with customers and distributors, a new training center has been established at
the MACHEREY-NAGEL headquarters in Düren. A dedicated team
of scientists and product specialists with extensive practical and
theoretical expertise is committed to train our clients and provide
maximal support.
MACHEREY-NAGEL –
Packaging according to up-to-date standards
To meet the demands of providing a reliable, high quality product,
MACHEREY-MAGEL is always looking for enhancements and
continuous optimizations of products and production processes.
As of June 2015, all MACHEREY-NAGEL products will be labeled
according to the Globally Harmonized System of Classification
(GHS), the new world-wide-standardized system for classification
and labeling of chemicals on product labels and Material Safety
Data Sheets (MSDS). The most noticeable change is the new
diamond shaped hazardous icon which replaced the previously
labeled orange square symbols.
In addition, all liquids included in the MACHEREY-NAGEL
Bioanalysis product line will be provided in new Nalgene® round
bottles. These bottles provide better handling and a wider opening,
allowing easier and more precise pipetting. The new bottles have
shown improved stability and have helped streamline production
processes.
