Calling ALL PTA Members
Our WBMS PTA board is looking to fill board positions for the 2017-2018
school year! It's a fun and interactive way to get involved in the school.
Manage a committee of 3-8 event Chair persons (depending on VP position), attend a once a month meeting, and be involved on a more hands on
way with our school community. Most positions are set up to be a 2-year
commitment to allow an experienced chair rolling off to mentor a new
chair rolling on. Available positions include: Co-President with Cindy
Garcia , Treasurer, VP communication, VP community and health, Co-VP
finance, Co-VP Teacher support. Nominees will be posted in March. We
would love to have parent representation from each of the schools that feed Microsoft Surface Support Hours and Helpful Tips

Pennies for Patients
Student Council and Beta Club are participating
in the campaign Pennies for Patients for the
months of January and February. Webb Bridge
Middle School is participating in the Leukemia
& Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Pennies for
Patients program; a service-learning program
that gives students the unique experience of
working together to help raise awareness and funds in honor of thousands
of children and adults fighting against blood cancers! We are asking that
everyone (students, faculty, parents, alumni, etc.) at Webb Bridge Middle
School tjoin in this effort of raising awareness and collecting funds to
benefit the mission of LLS: to find cures for blood cancers and to improve
the quality of life for patient and their families. Together we can reach our
goal of $3,000+! For more information on Pennies for Patients or other
LLS Student Series Programs, please visit: http://www.studentseries.org/.
PARENTS: Please make a donation either online or send in your extra
change and bills before March 10th. A GREAT WAY to MAKE A
CHANGE IN SOMEONE’S LIFE! Bills and checks are also welcome and
you may donate by going to our online website at: http://events.lls.org/
