RULES OF USAGE KITESURF AREA

KITESURF AUTHORISED AREA ORGANISED INTO TWO SITES:
- SITE A: SCHOOLS
- SITE B: TAKE OFF AND LANDING
The Town Hall of Sant Pere Pescador is ruling Site B by means of a forfeit (monthly or seasonal)
which includes responsibility and injury insurance. This forfeit is essential to have free use of the
area.
The area is limited by a beacon channel which will be used only for entering and getting out. Under
no circumstances can riders use it to perform any kind of manoeuvres.
Rules to respect:
1- Not to enter the schools site.
2- Surf at 200 m far from the shore and avoid crowds in front of the site.
3- Site B is not a kite park –after the ride, collect the lines or the whole equipment to leave free
space.
4- Wear the forfeit which enables you to surf on the harness handle. It is personal and nontransferable.
5- Not to surf in unfavourable meteorological conditions; under yellow / red flag there is no rescue
service. It will be the user’s responsibility.
6- The expert rider, by courtesy, shall give way to the beginner.
7- When there is risk of collision, the rider on starboard has the preference, he will not change his
course and will heighten the kite for the other rider to sail, follow the wind direction and lower
the kite.
