Camp 2017
Session #1
June 5th – 9th
Animal Adventure (Ages 3-5)
Explore different habitats and the
animals that reside there. Children will
learn about how the animals meet their
needs through stories and crafts.
Young Architects (Ages 6-12)
3-D Monuments – Learn to make 3D
images like the Eiffel Tower, the White
House, the Statue of Liberty and the
Sydney Opera House.
Session #2
June 12th – 16th
Under the Sea (Ages 3-5)
Join us on an adventure under the sea to
visit out inhabitants. Make craft stick
fishes, jumping jelly fish from Styrofoam
balls, learn about different creatures of
the sea, and how they live and coexist in
their water home.
Art of Imagery (Ages 6-12)
Various themes like Beach Party where
kids create surfboard art, sand inspired
sculptures and more. Pirate Island –
Ahoy Maties! Kids explore deserted
islands, treasure chests, pirate ships and
more. Art Rocks – Kids have fun
combining music and art to create
instruments and other fun themes.

June 19 t h – 23 r d
Chemistry Lab (Ages 3-5)
Science Matters-Enter the Science
Matters Chemistry Lab. Put on your
goggles and get messy conducting
experiments. Learn about the States of
Matter.
Chemistry Lab (Ages 6-12)
Science Matters- Outrageous science
that will amaze your friends. Learn
some of the best secret physics trick.
Make a paperclip float in the air, create
your own Mini Rollercoaster, and master
the Table Cloth Trick using Newton’s 1st
Law of Motion. We’ll end our week
using the Four Forces of Flight and flying
your own rubber band powered plane.
Session #4
June 26th – 30th
Frozen (Ages 3-5)
Make cold glittery ice castles, make
frozen inspired slime, glittery slimy
frozen science fun, make, and create
gorgeous icy art and a lot of other
activities
Abstract Painting (Ages 6-12)
Join us for this look back in time at the
inventors. This week will be devoted to
learning about famous inventions of our
time. Children will develop their own
critical thinking skills by determining
what inventions had the greatest overall
impact and why.
Session #5
July 5th – 7th
Give Me Liberty (Ages 3-5)
Learn all about the USA- Learn about the
US flag, color the US Flag, make patriotic
pinwheels, play bingo.
Give Me Liberty (Ages 6-12)
Learning about the USA – Facts about the
US flag, our past presidents, sing patriotic
songs, read the Declaration of
Independence, and facts on the Liberty
Bell.
Session #6
July 10th – 14th
Physics Lab (Ages 3-5)
Develop the child’ s interest and
curiosity with these science
experiments which object is heavier
with the easy balance scales, how to
create fireworks in oil and water, and
tons of other fun experiments.
Physics Lab (Ages 6-12)
Science Matters – Enter the Science
Matters in America Chemistry Lab. Put
on your goggles and get messy
conducting experiments. What makes a
chemical reaction a reaction? Meet Egg
Mo the Amazing. Create a Reaction-in-aBag and a Snowstorm in a Bottle.
Session #7
July 17th – 21st
Story Lab (Ages 3-5)
Even happiness has its plot and
characters, “Pretend I am a baby, or a
fairy, or a superman. Get ready to
pretend, to imagine, to dream. A
Storybook character will pay our students
a visit
Bejeweled Blitz (Ages 6-12)
Join us for this fun filled week of jewelry
and flower designing and making.
Children will create and design bracelets,
necklaces, earrings and various other
accessories using techniques such as
braiding, beading, and embellishment
Session #8
July 24th – 28th
Young Cubists (Ages 3-5)
Learn to create art through geometrical
shapes. Learn to draw a fish, a bird and
a flower using Cubism.
Portrait Drawing (Ages 6-12)
Painting is a very creative way for kids to
express themselves. You can paint with
string, with your finger, with the eraser
tip on your pencil, or simply by splashing
paint on your paper.
Session #9
July 31st – August 4th
Outer Space Lab (Ages 3-5)
Learn about the planets, make paper
plate planets, learn about night and day,
astronauts, play games and sing songs
Clay Creations (Ages 6-12)
Encourage using imagination with
painting clay pots and
other objects. What could be more fun
than transforming wet clay into an object
of your own design?
The art of ceramics combines technical skill
with imagination. A quality enrichment experience
this camp encourages getting your hands dirty while
having fun with clay!
Session #10
August 7 t h – 11 t h
Jurassic Park (Ages 3-5)
Enter the time machine and explore the
world from when Dinosaurs roamed the
land. Learn the Dinosaur Dance, make
Dinosaur tails, Dinosaur Breakout,
Dinosaur eggs and Dinosaur art.
Jump Start Class (Ages 6-12)
Help launch students into a successful
school year.
This camp is highly recommended for all
Returning and new students entering
upper elementary. Children will get a
head start on how to plan their work
schedule, and learn time management
and study skills. They will receive new lessons and have
opportunities to refresh skills that have been previously
learned.
