Livestock Updates:
All market goats and lambs must be brought to the fairgrounds for
tagging and registration on Friday, April 29, 6-8 pm. Please enter at the
top of the hill and follow the gravel road down over hill, entering the
back gate, pass the horse barn and follow the road around behind the
commercial building up behind the swine barn. We will split the line at the
top of the hill by the wash rack. You will also receive a clipboard to
complete the form ahead of time.
If you are picking up tags for hogs, please enter the front gate and park
by the pavilion. You will walk to the beef barn behind the indoor arena to
complete paperwork and receive your tags. Do not bring your hogs to
tagging. All FFA market hog exhibitors have requested tags and will
receive them from the advisor after April 29.
On Saturday, May 14, market hog exhibitors will need to use the front
gate by the office. Optional weigh-in is 8-10 am. Please proceed straight
ahead into the carnival area, then turn left and drive between the arena
and goat barn. You will stop at the scales to weigh and then turn left and
drive in front of the milking parlor to exit. If you are returning pictures,
please park out by the picnic pavilions and walk back to the scale area
in the beef barn where you picked your tags up.
