He continues, “As soon as I got back, I wanted to incorporate some of the dishes into our Mary’s menu. Also, my grandmother (Mary) is from the island of Ischia in the Mediterranean so it made perfect sense. I know she would be pleased with these new recipes. ” Mary’s Pizza Shack will continue to offer the same homemade menu of pastas, pizzas and entrees that have made it an Italian comfort food destination for people of all ages. It will also include 11 new items that are focused on the seasonality of certain vegetables, seafood and grains. They are also full of specialty ingredients imported from Italy, like Italian olives, cipolline onions and grilled eggplant. Some examples of the Mediterranean menu include the Burrata & Arugula, Italian Farmer’s Market Pizza, Tuna & Couscous Salad and the Shrimp Bruschetta. Diners can also see Sriracha making its first appearance on the menu as a sauce on Mary’s famous chicken wings and on their new Pizza a la Sriracha. “We had a great time exploring all kinds of different flavors this season. It was hard for us to narrow down to just a few. We finally agreed to our 11 favorite dishes”. States Albano. In addition to the Mediterranean dishes, a robust catering menu has also launched.
