ADDITIONS TO AGENDA: Steve Lawrey wants to discuss awards.
PRESIDENT'S REPORT: Hoping everyone had a wonderful holiday despite some bad weather.
Institute staff in D.C. missed day due to bad weather. Received an email from Matt about issues
with Institute website since end of November. They are still not processing orders, and renewals.
Seventy members are lost each month plus 170+/- new members due to the website problems.
Therefore each chapter membership chair needs use there list since November 31, 2014 to try
to get renewals by personally contacting them. Tom reported that this has been reflected to the
treasury issues. Others reiterated that they also noticed no improvement on the website.
mycsi has been changed but no changes on the public side of the website.
Bill asked if possible to log on or track anything? Margaret responded that not yet. Renewals can
be done by mail, and no one is being dropped during these problems. Margaret will furnish a
chapter roster (for November 31, 2014) to anyone that needs a copy.
VICE PRESIDENT'S REPORT: None
SECRETARY'S REPORT: John Sweigart reported that Tom sent a few corrections for the
November 2014 meeting ; misspelled “teleconference”, Tom's initials should be “CCS”, and
Mary Ellen's initial should be “AIA”. Jesse stated that Margaret had his last name misspelled,
and John also asked that his last name be spelled “Sweigart”. Margaret asked for any further
changes, and hearing none the minutes were accepted as corrected.
TREASURER'S REPORT: Tom reported $3,500.00 +/- deficit end of now. The Institute allocations
for November, and December not received yet. If anyone needs information about allocations
contact Tom or Margaret. $5,700.00+/- in checking account plus a savings account. Books balance.
INSTITUTE DIRECTOR'S REPORTS: None
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Nominations: None
Academic Affairs: Open
Education/Technical: Mary Ellen Pfiester/Steve Weisensale. No report.
Certification: Steve Weisensale/Mary Ellen Pfiester. Note the dates for Exams. Margaret said
that she could not sign in online. Steve reported that nothing is linkable. Early registration closes
January 31, 2015, and final date is February 22, 2015. Margaret will email the Exam date to all.
Winnie stated that Richmond will be having a full day of CSI boot camp for exam training.
Margaret stated that Tidewater is having a six-week long exam training sessions. If your Chapter
is having training send the dates, and times to Steve, and copy Mary Ellen for posting on the
website?
Membership: Mitch Miller. No report.
Electronic Communications: Margaret reported that Marc Held is taking over for Dave Miller.
Awards: Steve Lawrey received 22 award nominations. Nominations being reviewed for Awards
Dinner presentations on May 2, 2015.
Planning/ Operations: Barbe asked the coordination for education programs be done with Steve
for LOS in August.
LOS will be at the Heritage Hills Country Club off Route 83 in the York. PA area, at
Mt. Rose Exit #18. Rate is $119.00 per night for August 14, 15, 2015.
Nominations: Margaret encouraged everyone to vote during Institute elections
February 2nd through March 2nd.
Conference Oversight:
Philadelphia: Walt said that every chapter should be getting information. Firming up the schedule
and technical tour. Trying to get together an owner's panel. Registration soon.

Baltimore: Jim gave the dates of April 8,9, 2016. Negotiating with a hotel. Program to
“Focus on Education”.
Pittsburgh: No report.
NOVA: MAR 2018. No updates.
(OLD) UNFINISHED BUSINESS: none
NEW BUSINESS:
Winnie asked about timing for chapter elections? Margaret stated that the Institute requests that
all chapter information be submitted by April 1, 2015.
ACTION ITEMS:
Margaret will send a chapter rosters to Walt for announcing the MARC 2015.
Margaret reminded all about submitting information for the CSI Certification (study) Page listing.
Do not forget to vote between February 2nd, and March 2, 2015.
