In July 2016 the newly established St. Helens Youth Council
(secondary aged young people) had the opportunity to hold
a Local Question time with elected members and Senior
Managers from St. Helens Council. Here they got the
chance to ask questions and debate issues from a young
persons perspective.
Non-Uniform Day Friday 25th November
(Bring in Christmas items such as wrapping paper, cards, chocolate)
Moving forward to the primary debate, all parties involved in
the initial meeting with St. Helens Youth Council wanted to

Class 11 have been enjoying their science learning
challenge, ‘What would

Year 6 Football
Our Y6 Football Team narrowly missed out on a place in the
semi-finals of the St Helens 7-a-side Football Tournament.
As defending champions we had a lot to live up to and in
the first game we were unlucky to draw with Legh Vale after
dominating possession.
In the second game we were beaten by St Peter and St
Paul’s. The team had to win the last game by 3
goals or more but could only manage a 1-0 victory against Garswood.
5 Y1 children recently attended a football
tournament ran by Everton Football Club.
The children showed fantastic teamwork
and football skills.
We won 3 games, drew 1 and lost 1, overall finishing at 2nd place.
Our 2017/18 holiday dates are now
available on our school website.
