Year 1 Football Year 6 Football Our Y6 Football Team narrowly missed out on a place in the semi-finals of the St Helens 7-a-side Football Tournament. As defending champions we had a lot to live up to and in the first game we were unlucky to draw with Legh Vale after dominating possession. In the second game we were beaten by St Peter and St Paul’s. The team had to win the last game by 3 goals or more but could only manage a 1-0 victory against Garswood. 5 Y1 children recently attended a football tournament ran by Everton Football Club. The children showed fantastic teamwork and football skills. We won 3 games, drew 1 and lost 1, overall finishing at 2nd place.
