 KLO had another great showing at The Legion Literacy and
Poster Competition. Congratulations to the following students:
Daylath Mendis 1st Black and White Poster as well as 2nd in
Poetry. Alicia Cooke 1st - Poetry, Elspeth Williams Honourable
Mention-Poetry, and Samantha Johnston 3rd in the Black and
White Poster Division.

COUGAR SPORTS
Basketball
The grade 9 boys basketball players are
reminded that there is a practice tonight from
5:00-7:00 pm. There will be further information at that time
regarding games.
Congratulations to the KLO Grade 8 Girls basketball team who
are City Champions!!!!!!!
KLO Girls prevailed in a 60 -29 blowout win vs Heritage Christian School on Friday
night in the Semi Final game. On Saturday the girls took on their tough rival OKM
and came away with a convincing 14 point win with a final score of 36 -22.
The girls have earned the right to represent the Central Okanagan in the Provincial
in March at Pitt Meadows!! The girls are 21-0 this year and the only team in town
with a longer winning streak at home are the Kelowna Rockets!!!!!1
Great season players and coaches. Good luck this weekend in Penticton.
