Welcome Spring!
Class Trips
The district missed a total of 11 inclement
weather days. The last day of school was
May 30.
8th Grade Graduation
We welcomed spring after a very long
winter at “The Bluff”! DESE extended the
MAP testing window, so we did as well
giving our third-eighth grade students the
MAP & EOC assessments May 5-16.
Kindergarten – 2nd grade were
administered the Terra Nova May 12-16.
Each of our classes enjoyed end-of-the-year
trips accompanied by parents & other family
members. In accordance with district policy,
each chaperone completed a background
check prior to accompanying the trip using
their state-issued photo identification. The
district appreciates the support of our parents
& guests who understand keeping our
students safe is a top priority.
The Spring Bluff R-XV School District held
8th grade graduation on Thursday, May 29.
Twenty-nine students received their 8th
grade diploma during the ceremony.

United Way Peanut Butter &
Jelly Drive
Students, teachers & staff collected 67 items
of peanut butter & jelly for the Meramec
Community Mission the week of April 14.
Students who participated were eligible to
place their name in a drawing for two movie
passes to Sullivan 6 Cinema. Cambrian Koch,
2nd grade, and Emma Brune, 3rd Grade, were
the winners of the passes, but all participants
were winners in helping others!
Alexcis Brock was recognized as
Valedictorian of the class and Alexis
Blankenship was recognized as the
Salutatorian. Alexcis Brock, Alexis
Blankenship, Sophia Sellers, and Landan
Wiese were recognized as honor graduates
for having achieved an A or A- average in
grades 6th-8th grades. Please look further in
this newsletter for a list of the graduates
and other honors awarded.
Kindergarten Graduation
Kindergarten Graduation was held on
Tuesday, May 27 with twenty students
graduating during the event.
Kindergarten students recited their name,
birthday, phone number and shared what
they want to be when they grow up. It’s
always an exciting time to see how far they
have come in such a short time. ☺
Please see pages 4 & 5 of this newsletter for
pictures of all our kindergarten & 8th grade
graduates.
