POSITION PURPOSE:
The Operations executive plays a fundamental role in successfully running our tours in
Thailand, providing the main point of contact among BT staffs. Working as part of our
Operations Department, The Operationexecutive is primarily responsible for the correct
booking, follow-up and cost control of servicesand ensuring all field staff and partners
directly involved with their bookings are fully informed before and on tours.
Accountabilities
Making purchase orders to book
all services as request from Sales
and Reservations Departments
Respond to all urgent incidents
reported byfield staff, partners or
operations officers
Update tour costing and ensure
trips are running to budget and
profitability
Directly superviseall proceedings
for assigned tours.
Key Performance Indicators
Services should be performed
according to the correct
itinerary and matching service
lines.
Adequately adjust programs and
services within limited time
frame. Update key departments
and persons.
No. of tours that are run to
budget, cost saving efforts and
fully up-dated information in the
system D+2.
Operate tour according to
customer wishes and minimize
errors in booking and by guides

Regular cross check price and
services. Make sure the best
price with the good quality is
used
Improved customer feedback,
Guide reports or System
feedback.
Inform direct manager when
inconsistent costing is found.
Good relationship with service
suppliers
product improvement and an
increase in customers
satisfaction
Report to direct manager and
ensure incoming reports from field
staff and partners are picked up
and acted upon.
Information should be filtered,
collected andpassed to Ops
Team leader and other relevant
parties
Update information in a correct
and timely manner
Collect and storetour reports
Facilitate information flow
during problem solving
Roles and responsibilities:
 Making purchase orders to book all operation services as requested from Sales
and Reservations Departments
 Respond to all urgent incidents reported by field staff, partners or operation
officers
 Update tour costing and ensure trips are running to budget and profitability
 Report to direct manager and ensure incoming reports from field staff and
partners are picked up and acted upon.
 Apply and manage cost control, quality levelsand facilitate solutions
 Ensure all guides, tourleaders and customers receive up to date tour information
/ documents.
Needed Skills, Knowledge and Attitudes:
 Strong knowledge of Travel and Tour Operation.
 Able to prioritize, manage time and work to deadlines.
 Excellent command of English skills in writing, listening & reading
 Flexible and a positive outlook
 Problem solving
 Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
 High standards of customer service and good communication skills
 Being responsible and proactive
 Outgoing personality, energetic and willing to work hard
 Willing to travel frequently around Thailand and upcountry
Roles to fill:




Male/Female Thai National between 22 – 35 years old
Minimum 1 year experience in a travel agency
University graduate or relevant Diploma
Personal and professional travel experience in Indochina and Thailand is an asset.
REMUNERATION PACKAGE:
Gross salary:According to experience and qualifications
Performance pay: Yes
Other benefits: Training, travel, company’s events (parties, holidays), Health Insurance
Working hour:9.00-18.00 Monday – Friday and 9.00-13.00 every second Saturday.
