EGGER particleboard is made using environmentally friendly methods from wood residues
(65 to 90 % softwood) from the sawmill industry and forestry as well as from recycled
high-quality wood. The outstanding quality of EGGER particleboard, first produced in 1961
at the St. Johann plant in Austria, has been the key to the continued development of the
EGGER group.
EGGER JP F 0,3 (F****) BOARD is a chipboard with formaldehyde release on the lowest
possible technica level – like natural wood. In combination with moisture resistance the
particleboard meets the requirements for use in humid interior conditions and interior
fitments in humid areas (e.g. bathroom, work surface) which follows the Australian
standard AS/NZS 1859.1:2004 – class MR.

EGGER responds to the trend of Green Building and goes one step ahead offering this innovative board with a reduced
formaldehyde release in combination with a moisture resistant core board. EGGER omits the green dye in the core layer to
create an even more natural chipboard.

Protecting the environment begins with sustainable forestry
Sustainable forestry is a top priority for EGGER. For the
production of wood-based materials, EGGER only uses wood
from forest thinnings and residual wood in selected quality
from sawmills, as well as suitable recycled wood. Within the
chain of custody, our plants are PEFC* and / or FSC*-certified
depending on the availability of wood.

EGGER particleboard EUROSPAN® JP F 0,3 (F****) achieves the formaldehyde class F**** according to the Japanese standard JIS A 5908:2003.
The limit value is 0,3 mg/L according to Japanese test method JIS A 1460 (Desiccator) and
according to Australia standard AS/NZS 1859.1/Amdt 1/2006-02-03 table 1 (Desiccator test method).
Additionally EGGER particleboard EUROSPAN® JP F 0,3 (F****) reaches limit value 3,0 mg/100 over-dry board at moisture content of 6,5 %,
according to the European test Method EN 120 (Perforator).
