President’s Academic Tuition Scholarship
One-year tuition scholarship for UNK transfer student. Based on college and
community involvement and cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. Must complete
UNK Application for Admission form.
Scholarship for tuition up to 15 credit hours per semester for full-time student. University of Nebraska- Lincoln
Awarded to a high school senior with minimum ACT score of 25(1130 SAT) Transfer student scholarship for UNL resident tuition. Must complete a UNL
and GPA of 93%.

$200 annual scholarship awarded to a MCC student.
Non-Traditional Grants
$400 grants per semester awarded to students enrolled in a minimum of 3
credit hours per semester. Deadline is four weeks prior to the beginning of
the semester.
Non-Traditional Scholarships
One-year scholarships awarded in amounts of $800 per semester to full-time
non-traditional students who have completed 24 credit hours within the
past five years. Can also earn an additional $500 each semester to be used
towards an direct college costs. Selection based on cumulative GPA. Deadline
is four weeks prior to the beginning of the semester.

Bob Ridenour Baseball Scholarship
This $200 one-year scholarship is to be awarded annually to a MCC student
playing baseball to be administered by the MPCC’s Scholarship Committee.
Priority deadline is March 1st.

Walsh-Brady Scholarships
Awards ranging from $500 and up. Awarded to southwest NE and northwest
KS high school graduates enrolling full-time at MCC. May be applied to any
college direct cost.
Walsh-Brady Tuition and General Purpose Fees
Grant
Grant to pay for 50% of tuition and general purpose fees for high school
students ages 16 and up to enroll in up to 6 credit hours each semester at
MCC. Does not apply to dual credit courses.
The Welborn Family Memorial Scholarship
Scholarship awarded to a sophomore student.
Provide no interest, short-term loans to non-traditional students based on
needs. Must repay in the same semester as the loan was taken out. See Area
Director of Financial Aid for further information.
Myatt Volentine Student Loan
No interest loans for full-time students. Does not exceed $2000 for one-year
programs or $4000 for a two-year period. To be used for tuition, fees, books,
education materials and room and board while enrolled in an educational
program. Student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. Loans are
to be paid in full within four years of termination of any program. Selection is
based on academic achievement, school and/or community activity, financial
need, short and long-term educational and professional goals, available
ACT/SAT scores, and an interview. See MCC Financial Aid Office for further
information. Deadline is August 1 for fall semester and December 1 for spring
semester.
