EBENEZER SCROOGE
Ebenezer Scrooge is a cranky old
man who doesn’t like people very
much. This is a story about one
magical night when he learned
about the true meaning of Christmas.
MRS. DILBER
Mrs. Dilber is Ebenezer
Scrooge’s housekeeper.
BOB CRATCHIT
Bob Cratchit works for Ebenezer
Scrooge. He is a very kind man.
He has a family, including a
little boy named Tiny Tim.
TINY TIM
Bob Cratchit’s son, who is very
sick but loves Christmas.
FRED
Fred is Ebenezer Scrooge’s nephew.
He is a very kind man, and he doesn’t
understand why his uncle does not
want to celebrate Christmas.
THE SOLICITORS
The solicitors are two gentlemen
who are collecting money to give
to the poor. They ask Scrooge if
he will give them some money.
BETTYE PIDGEON
Bettye is a kind woman who
sells dolls. She owes Ebenezer
Scrooge money.
BERT
Bert is a kind man who sells
fruit and cider. He owes
Ebenezer Scrooge money.
MR. MARVEL
Mr. Marvel is an inventor who
sells watches. He owes Ebenezer
Scrooge money.
JACOB MARLEY
Jacob Marley was Ebenezer
Scrooge’s business partner.
He was not a very kind man.
He has been dead for seven years.
THE GHOST OF CHRISTMAS PAST
The Ghost of Christmas Past is
the first spirit to visit Ebenezer
Scrooge. She is very kind, and she
is able to show him scenes that
have already happened in his life.
YOUNG SCROOGE
When Scrooge visits his memories
of the past, he sees himself at the
ages of 14 and 30 years old.
MR. AND MRS. FEZZIWIG
Mr. Fezziwig is a kind man who
gave Ebenezer Scrooge his first
job. Mrs. Fezziwig is his wife. They
both love to celebrate Christmas!
BELLE
Belle is a lovely young woman who
was once going to marry Ebenezer
Scrooge. He loved her very much.
THE GHOST OF
CHRISTMAS PRESENT
The Ghost of Christmas Present
is the second spirit to visit Ebenezer
Scrooge. He shows Scrooge the joy
of Christmas in the present day.
MRS. CRATCHIT
Mrs. Cratchit is Bob Cratchit’s wife
and the mother of Tiny Tim. She
loves her family very much.
FRED’S WIFE
She is married to Ebenezer
Scrooge’s nephew, Fred. She is
very kind, and she also wishes that
Scrooge would celebrate Christmas.
THE GHOST OF
CHRISTMAS FUTURE
The Ghost of Christmas Future is the
third spirit to visit Ebenezer Scrooge.
He is able to show Scrooge visions of
what the future will be like if he does
not try to be a better man.
