To All Graduate students: Updates to the Rules and Regulations and map may be viewed at: http://www.rwu.edu/about/administration/publicsafety/parking/rules.htm As of August 1 you will be able to apply for your 2012-2013 permits at: http://rwu.t2hosted.com All registered students, (with the exception of resident freshmen), need to apply for a 2012-2013 permit. Please note that the $150.00 fee is waived for Continuing Ed students and those graduate students taking 9 credits or less. You must notify [email protected]! Please read below for more instructions. If you are replacing a windshield or replacing a car on file with a new car, please notify the traffic control office at [email protected] before you apply for a new permit. After invalidating your old permit, you will be allowed to apply for another permit. There is no charge for a replacement permit due to window replacement or new vehicle replacing an existing vehicle that has already been registered during the academic year. Application Procedures 1. At the website choose the Purchase Permits. 2. Log in using your 7 digit datatel (student ID number) and password. First time applying for your permit the default password will be the last 4 numbers of your Social. 3. You will be requested to update your password. Please keep a copy of your password for your records. 4. Apply for your permit by choosing the ‘Purchase Permits’ option and follow instructions. 5. The page will load and you will see, “Choose the permit you wish to purchase and after reading the permit agreement click Next >>”. You must select the permit being applied for and check the box agreeing to reading the parking regulations (http://www.rwu.edu/about/administration/publicsafety/parking/rules.htm for the most up to date rules and regulations) then press the Next button. 6. Please select the vehicle you will use with this permit. If there is more than one vehicle on your account because of activity from last year (as example guests or an old vehicle) apply for the car you will be driving during the current academic year. If you have made your vehicle selection, press Next. Or add a new vehicle if needed. 7. Select method of payment “Bill the Bursar” (do not use a credit or debit card) and hit Next. (This option is only for those who are taking 9 credits or less) 8. Your Payment information will appear. Once you verify, press Next 9. Your receipt is now ready for printing for your records. At this point, please email [email protected] and the charges will be reversed. Please put “continuing ed student” in the subject of the email. In most cases, if applied for properly, your permit will be available the next business day. Because of the heavy amounts ordered at the beginning of the academic year we have special time set aside for pickup of your permits. Permits will be available for pickup Monday – Thursday, August 20 - 23 from the School of Law Bistro from 10 AM – 2 PM. Monday – Friday August 27-31 from the lobby of the Rec Center on the landing near WQRI. After August 31 you can pick up your permit from the lobby of the Recreation Center Monday’s from 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM or additionally any other time from the Main Entrance office.
