I have been doing Agility for 16 years. Scandal is my first dog to represent Agility
Team GB. Scandal is a 7 year old Border Collie and this is my fourth year
representing GB. Scandal and myself were part of the team that took silver at the
World Championships in 2014 and gold in 2015.
Over the next few months we will be doing lots of fitness work (both dog and
handler) to ensure we are prepared for the longer, fast flowing courses that we get at
World Championships. Scandal goes to The Smart Clinic regularly where she
receives the best care, getting acupuncture, massage, physio treatment as well as
going on an underwater treadmill. This ensures that she is fit and balanced to cope
with the demands of the international courses. We are also meeting up regularly as a
team doing some training on an artificial grass surface to ensure the dogs are as
prepared as possible.
