Rippa Rugby World Cup
This event took place last
Wednesday & our school represented
Argentina. The juniors qualified for the
quarter finals & although the seniors had a
slow start they then had a run of wins.
It was a fantastic day that everyone enjoyed,
a BIG THANK YOU to all the helpers.
Cross Country 3 June 2014
Merivale School Cross Country was held
yesterday at Yatton Park. It was an awesome
day and we saw some very talented runners
on display.
The following students will be representing
Merivale at the West Cluster Cross Country
next Wednesday 11 June at Waipuna Park,
Welcome Bay.

The fees for the season are :
$65 for Year 4’s $75 for Years 5 – 6
Chiefs practice every Tues 2.45 – 3.45
Warriors practice every Wed 12.30 - 1pm
NETBALL – the girls had another great win
on Saturday defeating Otumoetai 29 – 10

Merivale School Senior Camp 2014
By now you should have had notices home about
the Year 5 & 6 school camp this year at
Aongatete Outdoor Education Lodge.
The cost for this camp is $90 per child.
We would like to encourage all of you to start
making payments towards this camp to make it
easier when the time comes as unfortunately we
will not be able to take children who have not
paid.
REMINDER about the Tutarawananga
Maori Womans Welfare League hui at
5.30pm tomorrrow, Thurs 5th June at
Merivale School.
MUFTI DAY –
This Friday 6th June……..fundraising day
for our new composting bins.
GOLD COIN donation for wearing mufti.
LUNCH this FRIDAY 6th June –
We will be having our first ‘buy your
lunch at school’ day this Friday.
We will be selling Nachos for $4 for
anyone that would like to buy their lunch
