Florida Peninsula Insurance Company, one of the largest homeowners insurance companies in the state, recently partnered with Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach County to sponsor a new home for one well-deserving Boynton Beach family. The family received their new house at a special dedication ceremony. Several of the Florida Peninsula employees, along with their families and agency partners, contributed more than 200 hours of their time to Habitat for Humanity. “We are so honored to be a part of this donation,” said Paul Adkins, Chairman of Florida Peninsula Insurance Company. “Florida Peninsula has partnered with Habitat for many years, but each house we work on and every family we meet has a special meaning to us.” Florida Peninsula has participated in Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach “Build Days” since 2011. Through these events, Florida Peninsula employees have performed everything from sodding and landscaping to securing roof trusses by assisting skilled laborers complete the projects. Many Florida Peninsula Insurance Company employees live in the local communities they work in, and are passionately committed to several community initiatives, including adopting the second grade class at J. C. Mitchell Elementary School in Boca Raton. The company also recently completed its third annual Art Competition to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County.
