Planning your Wedding
Congratulations on your engagement and we are
delighted that you are considering The Lensbury
for your very special day. Our beautiful venue
will provide the perfect setting, ambiance, cuisine
and service to make your wedding a memorable
occasion for you and your guests.
Our dedicated wedding co-ordinator will work
with you to create the wedding you have always
imagined. She will be on hand throughout the
organisation to offer advice, guidance and support,
right up to the big day.
As a first step, we invite you to call and check the
availability of a suitable function room or to make an
appointment to come and view the venue.
We can make a provisional booking for you which
can usually be held for up to two weeks, but may be
extended by mutual agreement. On confirmation, a
non-refundable deposit is required to secure the
booking. At this stage, your wedding co-ordinator
will advise you of what information is required
during the lead up. On the day, our hospitality team
will ensure the smooth running of your event.
Arrival Drinks and Wines
Entertainment
Your arrival drinks and wines to accompany your meal
can be selected from our extensive lists. Please note that
wines will be subject to change due to availability.
Bands and discos are permitted in the majority of
our function rooms. Please check with your wedding
co-ordinator for timings. Please note that consideration
must be given to residents in respect of noise levels, and
the use of smoke or fire performances is prohibited. We
will require copies in advance of public liability insurance
and PAT (portable appliance testing) certificates for any
entertainers, bands and discos you will be using for your
event.
Menus
Our Executive Head Chef has created dishes to inspire
you. Please make your selection of two starters, two
main courses and two desserts from the menu selector.
We will then arrange a tasting for you to choose
your menu. This will usually take place twelve weeks
before your wedding day. Please ask if you have a special
request for alternative dishes or if your guests have any
special dietary requirements. One week before your
wedding, we require a list of guests and their menu
choices together with a seating plan.
Flowers
Flower table arrangements are included within your
wedding package. In addition, our in-house florist will
be delighted to provide all your wedding day flowers.
Spa treatments
Facial, manicures or a relaxing massage are available.
Treatments can be pre-booked prior to your arrival at
The Lensbury to ensure you look and feel great for your
special day. Please see our website (www.lensbury.com)
