WELCOME MESSAGE…
6th RAKMHSU Career Fair
Message from the Office of Student Affairs
It is both an honor and privilege for the Office of Student Affairs to welcome you
to the 6th RAKMHSU Annual Career Fair. This event meets with our philosophy
to assist our students in developing and managing their professional and
academic endeavors.
The 6th RAKMHSU Annual Career Fair hosts a range of national and
international exhibitors, thus providing our students with an opportunity to get
updates about potential career paths. Presentations will be made by experts in
the field in order to provide our young, future medical and health care
professionals with insights of the rules and regulations and career prospects in
the Governmental and Private Sectors in the U.A.E. In addition, members of the
RAKMHSU Alumni Association will speak to students of their respective
colleges, about their experience with specific licensing examinations and also
their experiences at the workplace.
We extend our appreciation to our distinguished guests for sharing their
valuable time and experience with us today. We also extend our sincere
gratitude to the Vice Chancellor of RAKMHSU, the Deans, the Faculty & the
RAKMHSU Administrative team for their support and cooperation.

LIFE AFTER GRADUATION…… A MESSAGE FROM SOME OF OUR WONDERFUL GRADUATES!!
“After graduating from RAKMHSU, I passed the EMSTREX and also Part-1 of
the Arab Board of Internal Medicine. I am currently an Internal Medicine
Resident. As the days pass after graduating from medical school and starting a
residency, we realize truly how long is the journey and how difficult is the
challenge. Medicine is not just a book you read but actually a life to live in, which
you never stop to give. To all my juniors who have chosen the path of Medicine,
believe in your choice and work hard, make the use of your time in RAKMHSU
where you can develop your knowledge and practical experience, remember the
noble aim of your future as a doctor and let this concept defeat the stress, stay
concentrated on a post graduate plan and work hard to achieve it, nothing is
impossible. Remember that we grow great by aims and dreams, no matter how
long or difficult is the way, a river will reach the sea at the end … You will be what
you want to be one day.”
-BASIL SALLOUM, MBBS 2013
“Student life is the most memorable phase of every person’s life. It is the phase
in which the whole foundation of a person’s life is laid upon. At RAKCODS,
meeting new people and experiencing new things is not a problem as there are
more than 200 students from different nationalities. We had hands-on experience with patients which provided us with the best skills to face our future. Things
might seem challenging at first and never-ending, but don’t give up, work hard!”
-NOORA SUROOR ALSHEHHI, BDS 2016
“Studying at RAKCOPS, RAKMHSU was a very good and enlightening experience. After graduating and training for six months in a community pharmacy, I
appeared for the DHA Licensing Exam. My work experience and a sound educational background helped me clear my exam. Ethics and Communication Skill
courses along with pharmaceutical knowledge made it easier for me to adjust in
my work environment. My advice to all students is to study hard and participate
in research and conferences in order to establish a strong foundation for future
career as a health professional.”
- MARIAM IMTIAZ, B. Pharm 2014
“I had a really great experience in RAKMHSU. I was fortunate enough to be the
gold medalist in my batch. By the time I graduated from RAKMHSU, I had an
entirely different perspective to life. I have my own ambitions and passions for
which I am working hard. And I believe in the quote by Theodore Roosevelt,
‘Nothing worth having comes easy’.”
- BRITTY LEE BABU, BSN 2014
