Unleash Your Superhero at Chippewa

Bringing it back to basics - Chippewa Childlife is an outdoor skills focused camp that will introduce your
little campers to the world of outdoor exploring. Learning the basics of outdoor cooking, shelter building,
following maps and tying knots. Your little one will be ready to take on many outdoor challenges.
Prepare to get messy! Chippewa’s Mini Scientists will experience hands on science experiments, which will
allow them to explore how the world around them works. They will also get a chance to build the longest
bridge or the tallest tower. From reactions and the reason it rains, to how things move and what happens
if…your Mini Scientist will be sure to get to get a ‘reaction’.
This arts camp is a creative, hands-on week that will give your young artist the opportunity to apply various
art mediums & concepts to create their own one-of-a-kind masterpieces. Campers will be divided into
groups, each enjoying a variety of different ‘arts’ activities such as typical crafts, painting, drama, music,
dance and more.
In this high-energy camp, you will travel through time to discover more about what life was like on the
high seas! Search for buried treasure, construct your own boat, and keep your crew safe while completing
challenges. At the end of the week campers will take a journey back into the history of Thunder Bay at Fort
William Historical Park!
The Quest for gold has arrived at Chippewa! In this sports based camp, your athlete will build skills,
compete in friendly competitions, and have a chance to be crowned the champions of Chippewa!
With a strong focus on teamwork and sportsmanship, this camp will set up participants up for a lifetime
of success.
Not just your average cooking camp, Wild Chefs will have your little one discovering different outdoor
cooking techniques as they prepare a different healthy recipe each day. No mixes here! Our ‘from-scratch’
approach will help your camper to understand the importance of measuring and the fun of making
something from scratch. Campers will also participate in other outdoor activities.
Filled with favorite characters, familiar stories and the chance to use your imagination – Imagination Station
will lead your camper through a variety of games, activities and outdoor fun. Whether your child wants to be
a wizard, an adventurer or a prince or princess – this camp will offer an opportunity for all imaginations.
Everyone can be a superhero and we want to help you to find your super powers! Become animated through
a variety of super activities and challenges. Chippewa’s superhero’s will learn about everyday heroes, how
to harness their own superpowers and work as part of a super team!
For your child’s safety, we require a completed the Participant Information Form (provided at registration)
to be submitted by email, fax or at the Victoriaville Civic Centre no later than 4:30pm on the Thursday of the
week prior to camp.
