Picture Frame Procedures
1. Rough cut stock to 27” (Miter Saw)
2. Square the board
a. Face joint face “A” if possible (we can’t here) (Jointer)
b. Plane face “B” to thickness (3/4”) (Surface Planer)
c. Joint edge “A” (Joiner)
d. Cross cut edge ”B” (1”) (Table Saw)
3. Cut 3/8” x ½” Rabbet with table saw
4. Cut 2 pieces 5 1/8” long @ 45 degrees (Miter Saw)
5. Cut 2 pieces 7 1/8” long @ 45 degrees (Miter Saw)
6. Assemble frame with glue and tape method
7. Cut Spline Slots
8. Glue in Splines
9. Trim and sand splines flush
10. Router outside perimeter
11. Finish sand
12. Apply finish
13. Engrave design
14. Laser cut tabs
15. Attach tabs with screws
16. Laser cut easel
17. Glue foot into easel
18. Tune foot to your frame
