DM 2075 Music of John Raynor John Theodore Livingstone Raynor, 1909-1970, attended the Royal College of Music and was St Nicholas Scholar at the School of English Church Music in 1929. He wrote more than 680 works and lived for over 30 years in Sussex. A detailed bibliography can be found in DM 2075/2/4. See http://www.kcedensor.freeserve.co.uk/raynor/ for more details. These papers were donated in June 2006 by the Royal School of Church Music. The numbering system is taken directly from the author’s original catalogue; hence some numbers are not in use. The record consists of the name of the piece followed by the key signature, the author of the lyrics on the following line, and thereafter any notes made by the composer. Any comments in inverted commas are Raynor’s own comments on the manuscript. The date of composition is recorded in the third column.
