Billy and Old Dan are good friends.
Billy and Old Dan are good friends. Billy is looking
for a someone who is dependable. Old Dan is
dependable. Billy never has to look for him because
he is always by his side. Billy loves hunting. Old
Dan is a hunting dog. He wants to make Billy proud
by doing a good job of hunting. Billy and Old Dan
are both very loving. They take care of each other.
Billy provides Old Dan with food, water, a place to
live. In addition to those things, he plays and
comforts him. Old Dan follows Billy around
everywhere he goes and gives Billy love in return.
These two share a good friendship and make a great
team together.
BILLY AND RAINIE WOULD NOT BE GOOD FRIENDS FOR
MANY REASONS. FIRST, RAINIE IS A BULLY. HE TEASES
OTHER CHILDREN. BILLY LIKES TO HELP OTHERS AND
TREAT THEM THE WAY HE WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED.
RAINIE IS ALSO VERY SELFISH. HE THINKS ABOUT WHAT
HE CAN GET FOR HIMSELF, ESPECIALLY MONEY. BILLY
SAVES HIS MONEY IN ORDER TO BETTER HIS FAMILY’S
LIFE. HE IS ALWAYS THINKING OF OTHERS. FINALLY,
BILLY AND RAINIE WOULD NOT BE GOOD FRIENDS
BECAUSE RAINIE GETS INTO TROUBLE OFTEN. BILLY
TRIES TO DO THE RIGHT THING. HE WANTS TO SET
THINGS RIGHT WITH MRS. PRITCHARD. BILLY GOES TO
RUBIN’S GRAVE IN ORDER TO SHOW HIS RESPECT EVEN
THOUGH HE DID NOT LIKE HIM.
My Friend
I would choose Old Dan to be my friend.
Old Dan would make a good friend because he is loyal and
courageous. When Billy was getting attacked by the mountain lion,
Old Dan jumped in to save him. He stuck by Billy’s side knowing that
he could die. Not only was Old Dan loyal and courageous, but he
was loving and sharing. He would wait for Little Ann to join him
before eating. Old Dan was Billy’s right hand. He knew what Billy
needed and always tried to be of assistance to him. I also think that
Old Dan would be fun to play with and hunt things with. These are
the reasons why I would want Old Dan to be my friend.
