Campaign Prize Ideas
In addition to UPAF 50th Anniversary promotional items, UPAF Campaign incentives and ticket
vouchers, easy-to-secure prizes can also be used to award your Workplace Giving Campaign
participants for their donations.
Prizes can be awarded for early bird donations, reaching a certain participation level, as a
drawing for a benchmark of giving, prize for a drawing, pledging competition for the UPAF Ride
for the Arts, sponsored by Miller Lite, etc. Be creative and make it fun! The following are
provided as thought-starters for your campaign:

Gift Cards: Gift cards are an easy and convenient way to provide incentives or serve as a
game prize. Consider coffee shops or bakeries near your office or “healthy” fast casual
restaurants.

Jeans Day or Casual Day: Allow employees to wear jeans or casual clothing on a day that is
normally “all business.”

VIP Parking: Allow an employee a week’s worth of parking in a prime location near your
company’s entrance.

Free Parking: Based on a certain giving level, pay for an employee’s monthly parking fee.

Extra Time Off: There are a number of options for allowing a little extra time off – extra
vacation day, extra half hour of lunch, birthday off, a month of half day Fridays, etc.

Corporate Swag Bag: Assemble a gift basket including corporate promotional items that are
usually given to customers – coffee mug, water bottle, calendar, special pen, logoed
clothing, etc.

Fun with the Boss: Arrange for an employee to spend a special lunch or golf outing with
your company’s CEO.

Free Food: Surprise a winning co-worker with breakfast or lunch delivered to their desk.

Chair Massage: Hire a masseuse to come to your company and provide 10- to 15-minute
chair massages to winning employees.

Gift Basket: Deliver a bright and delectable homemade cookie basket or fresh fruit basket.

Shoe Shine: Arrange for a shoe shiner to arrive on site and provide shoe shines.

Dry Cleaning or Car Wash: Provide vouchers or discount coupons for dry cleaning and car
washes at businesses near your place of employment.

UPAF Ride for the Arts: Provide a free registration for the UPAF Ride for the Arts, sponsored
by Miller Lite.
