Summer Art Workshops in CMA’s JPMorgan
Chase Center for Creativity encourage the
exploration of ideas through imaginative play,
exploration of art materials, and lively gallery
games. Workshops are available for students
entering Preschool – 8th Grade.

Curious Constructions and Contraptions

Build a world, tell its stories, and become
a part of its mythology.

Marvelous Beasts and How to Make Them

How do unicorns spend their day? What do
griffins like to eat for breakfast? If you were a
dragon, what kind of dragon would you be?
Investigate these and other fantastical creatures
and become your own marvelous beast.
Dia de Los Muertos Fiesta
July 17-21 | 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Instructor: Renee Zamora
Dive into the beautiful traditions and history of
Day of the Dead. We will honor the dead and
celebrate the living by making stunning sugar
skulls and elegant paper cuttings, telling family
stories, and throwing a fiesta!
Students going into 6th – 8th grade
Comics East meets West
June 26-30 | 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

Explore manga and graphic novels and ways to
mash them up to create your own characters,
narratives, and style.
Magical Mischief in the Museum

Calling all aspiring witches, wizards, and
supernatural enthusiasts! Cast spells, create
potions, and make magical tools.
