scenery. Makoura Lodge is centrally located to meet with teams from all over New Zealand.
Exclusive use- we offer our corporate guests exclusive use of all facilities and accommodation;
allowing you to spread out and create a ‘feel at home’ atmosphere. You’re welcome to use both the
Main Lodge and upstairs McIntyre room for your conference.

Most of our conference groups prefer to stay the night to benefit entirely on what Makoura Lodge

Total sleeping capacity shared (more than one to a room) is 40 singles or 60 guests as couples.
We have contacts for extra accommodation providers in the area if required.

Where possible our produce is sourced fresh from our vegetable garden. Options may vary according to season. Meals are
generally ‘chef’s choice’, buffet style however please select your choice if preferred.

Package offers- Overnight conference retreat
Due to our secluded location and overall experience overnight conference retreats are our specialty.
Investment is based on the below for a 24 hour period, for example you may arrive at 10am and
check out the following day at 10am. We are happy to add more meals outside the 24 hour period if
required. Ask us about discount offers for consecutive stays.

Terms and Conditions
Final numbers are required 10 days before your function. This is the minimum number that will be
charged for.
Please let us know names of guests with dietary requirements
An invoice will be sent out at the completion of the event. 2.5% will be added if paid via credit card.
Interest will be charged to overdue accounts at 2% per month. In the event of non-payment of any
account you shall become liable for all recovery costs incurred by us, including any legal expenses.
Any damage/ breakage to or loss of Makoura Lodge property or equipment will be charged at
replacement cost.
Deposit required
A $250 booking deposit is required to secure your date and will be refunded back to you at the end
of the function. Cancellation made without more than one months’ notice will forfeit their deposit. A
change of date may require an additional deposit with the original being forfeited.
