April 2015, cautiously milled, density-color sorted and packed in 25
KG bags using also Grain Pro Bags to protect the green beans during
sea transit to New Zealand.
Cupping Notes:
Coffee characterized by a tartaric and freshly acidity, with hints of
tamarinds and passion fruit notes. Distinguished by a soft-medium
body and a velvety raw cacao end. Score 86,5 Points.

Mr Argemiro Vargas Nuñez
Born in Timana, Huila 19th March 1948,
grown up in between coffee trees and
nature.
Became passionate of coffee culture and
studied agricultural business administration.
Worked as technical assistant in the National
Coffee Growers Federation for almost 30
years. During this time he also acquired La
Falda Farm.
Argemiro is one of the founders of the
national
known
producer
group
ASPROTIMANA (Asociación de Productores
Agricolas de Timaná).
He is married to Maria Deisy Espinosa and
they have four daughters and one boy.
Timaná is located in south Huila, the biggest
coffee producer department in Colombia. It
is one of the oldest towns in the country,
colonized Spanish conquerors in 1538 after
facing one of the cruelest fights with the
brave tribe Timanae that lived in the town
The tenacity of the people from this area
makes Timaná a municipality that delivers of
the best coffees in the world.
