The amounts on this salary schedule do not reflect the reduction of pay that corresponds with the furlough days. Probationary Bus Drivers are paid on Step 1 of the *E01 Schedule Individuals employed by the Cobb County Board of Education will be assigned a salary level based on appropriate experience. EMPLOYEE RESPONSIBILITIES All job-related experience must be verified by completing the appropriate CCSD Experience Verification Form. It is the responsibility of the employee to obtain documentation to verify qualifications and work experience. SALARY STEP CREDIT MILITARY CREDIT A salary step may be granted annually at the beginning of each school work year upon satisfactory completion of a year’s service (refer to Salary Step Credit Schedule). A maximum of 3 years credit will be given for active duty military experience; however, similar work experience will be credited year for year. Form DD214 must be submitted for review. Formula used to calculate bus driver monthly base rate of pay: Number of hours worked per day x 183 days x hourly rate of pay (depending on step placement) = the annual salary. Divide the annual salary by 12 months for the monthly rate of pay.
