Youth Work Weekend - April 15-16
Don't miss
Family Fun
Fest!!
May 15
3-7 pm
We were blessed to have 20+ youth
attend the Youth Work Weekend to
serve here at camp. Many projects were
completed including the roof replaced
on the Program Building, fresh paint on
some of the rockers, poured a concrete
bench outside the new Trading Post,
and many more. A huge "Thank You"
to everyone that served!
Winter Retreats
This winter we had a great group of youth and staff
attend the winter retreats. Total retreat numbers
were up from 2015. The campers were challenged
by Rob Dunlap, Jason Wenger, and Hannah Martin
to "Walk the Walk". The Primary Retreat had a
longer weekend thanks to a massive
blizzard. Thanks to the staff and
campers that attended for making
this season of retreats special.

Our theme this summer is “Set It”. It
is based on our theme verse, 1 Timothy 4:12,
which says, “Don’t let anyone look down on
you because you are young, but set an example
for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in
faith, and in purity.”
The world gives us a large variety of
examples to follow in how we live our lives.
We need to be following the example of Jesus.
If we are following His example, we will be
able to set an example for those around us in
our speech, life, love, faith, and purity. We
can only do this by God’s grace.
My goal for this summer is for each
of us to examine the examples that we are
following and the examples that we are setting.
What does it mean to, “set the example… in
speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity”?
What will our lives look like as a result? I’m
excited to see the amazing things that God will
do in our hearts
this summer.
