This Program is part of the Shire’s commitment to provide habitat for native fauna as well as plants for residents to create water-wise, sustainable gardens. EOI’s open: Monday 15 February EOI’s close: COB Friday 22 April More than 52,000 free native seedlings will be provided to local residents, ratepayers and community groups for planting within the Shire. The seedlings are all local native plants and the range of species ensures that there is something to suit variations in local conditions, from pretty garden plants through to trees. • Information and photos of the species available can be found year round on the Shire’s website: www.mundaring.wa.gov.au. • Seedlings will be allocated in batches of six per species. • This EOI is a request for seedlings and is not the same as an order that would be placed with a commercial entity (i.e. supply cannot be guaranteed). • Only one submission per household is permitted. • Successful EOI applicants will be notified from May onwards via letter. • Seedlings will be available from Saturday 14 May until Tuesday 31 May. More details will be provided to successful applicants. You are advised to send in your EOI early to avoid disappointment as once all seedlings from each species are allocated, it will not be possible to supply more of that species. Please note that the submission of an EOI does not automatically qualify for an allocation of seedlings.
