The Grotto Spa at Tigh-Na-Mara Seaside Spa Resort believes in offering
guest experiences that go beyond the expected. Treatments include facials, body wraps, body glows, massages, manicures and
pedicures, many with a focus on West Coast natural ingredients. Dedicated to providing intimate experiences for individuals and
couples, we also specialize in ‘social-spa’ catering to groups and corporate business. Named the #1 spa in British Columbia by Spas of
America, the Grotto Spa is also Quality Assurance Approved by Leading Spas of Canada for maintaining the highest hygiene and
customer service standards in the industry.
Access to the Grotto Mineral Pool, invigorating cool-splash waterfall and whirlpool is complimentary with any 60 minute spa
treatment booking on the day of services or can be enjoyed without a booked treatment for a facility fee. Designed to emulate a natural
stone grotto, the warm water pool is infused with natural minerals and trace elements to detoxify the body and rejuvenate the spirit.
Wind down in our Relaxation Lounge and enjoy fresh fruit along with a selection of specialty teas and coffee. Dine in your spa robe and
sandals while overlooking the surrounding forest at the Treetop Tapas & Grill.

other in Canada. The Treetop Tapas & Grill is reserved exclusively for robed
spa guests. Choose to try one or two items or indulge in the “Endless
Tapas” experience. With fresh local seafood, spa-inspired anti-oxidant
cuisine and delectable desserts, the tapas-sized portions are perfect for
sharing.

The “Endless Tapas” concept is based on a progression of menu items
created by our chefs to allow you to savour a wide variety of tastes. Once

About The Spa
Arrival With your leisure in mind we suggest arriving to the spa sixty minutes prior to scheduled treatments to enjoy the Mineral Pool, Whirlpool, Relaxation Lounge and
the Treetop Tapas & Grill. Late arrivals limit the time of your enjoyment and may lessen treatment benefits. To accommodate all guests, each treatment will conclude at the
scheduled time.
Mineral Pool Access to the Grotto Mineral Pool is complimentary with any sixty minute spa treatment booking and swimwear is required to enjoy this
unique experience. Enjoy the Mineral Pool without a sixty minute spa treatment for a facility fee of $40 per person. Guests under the care of a physician for any reason should
consult their physician prior to using the Mineral Pool.
Etiquette
To maintain tranquility and encourage relaxation throughout the spa, we ask that our guests turn off cell phones and leave them in their assigned locker for
the duration of their visit, and use a soft voice while enjoying the facilities. For guest privacy cameras and/or recording equipment are not permitted.
Comfort
Please inform us upon booking if you have a preference for a male or female spa provider. If you require a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) please inform
us at time of booking as availability is limited. Most body care treatments are enjoyed without clothing however your personal comfort is our primary concern. During all services
our providers ensure you are warmly and professionally draped. At your discretion you may wear undergarments. Spa robes and sandals will be provided upon arrival.
Age Policy
We allow full access to the Grotto Spa for persons 13 to 18 years of age, when accompanied by an adult enjoying treatments.
Cancellation Policy To cancel or adjust treatments at the Grotto Spa we require a minimum of 24 hours notice to avoid being charged in full.
Group and bridal bookings along with the Ultimate Couples Experience require 7 day cancellation notice.

blow-dries & styles, formal styles and a full array of colour and highlight services.

Health Concerns
To ensure a comprehensive, thorough and beneficial treatment, it is essential that our team is aware of your current physical condition. All
Grotto Spa guests are asked to complete a medical history form on arrival. Those guests with heart conditions, who are pregnant or are currently under the care of a physician for
any reason, should consult their physician prior to using the Grotto Mineral Pool or receiving spa treatments.
