With each organelle should be a statement of why the simile works (remember, a simile uses like or as) For example: The nucleus is like the principal’s office because the principal‘s office controls the school just like the nucleus controls the cell. Included on your poster should be: Nucleus Nucleolus Nuclear Membrane Cytoplasm Endoplasmic Reticulum Vacuole Lysosome Cell Membrane Mitochondria Golgi Body Ribosome Chloroplast Cell Wall Each organelle has a function listed (1 point each) ……………………………………………… _____ Each organelle is correctly compared to what you are drawing (0.5 pts each).……. _____ Correct spelling (0.5 point each) …………………………………………………………………………. _____ Poster is neat and attractive including color (3 points) ……………………………………….. _____ Poster has a clear and obvious title (1 point)……………………………………………………….. _____ Handwriting is neat and able to be read (1 point) ………………………………………………. _____ Name is on the poster (1 point) ………………………………………………………………………….. _____ TOTAL (33 points) _____ Idea Chart Organelle Nucleus Nucleolus Nuclear Membrane Cytoplasm Endoplasmic Reticulum Vacuole Lysosome Cell Membrane Mitochondria Golgi Body Ribosome Chloroplast Cell Wall is like… because it…
