This week’s spelling focus is: looking at the spelling rules for words with a short vowels and words
ending in consonant +y.
We will be revisiting it in a variety of contexts during Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday’s literacy
lessons, ready for a spelling test and dictation on Thursday.
