Tour Guide Are you looking for something different and exciting to do this summer? Well, get ready for
Six Flags- Great America, the newest theme park in our city. On July 1st, Six Flags opens its
doors to a world of thrills and laughter. Six Flags-Great America is in Chicago and easy to
get to either by car or by public transport. A day ticket costs 64.99 dollars, but children
under the age of 16 pay 44.99 dollar. Take advantage of half-day Thursdays, when a day
ticket will only cost you 20 dollars.
The park offers lots of amazing rides. There are two gigantic roller coasters as well as many
water rides. And if you get hungry, you can grab a bite at any of the 16 restaurants
available throughout the park. Six Flags is open Monday to Sunday. In the summer period,
from May to September, the park will be open between 9:30 am and 11:00 pm. In the
winter, the park will operate from October to January, between 11:00 am and 8:00 pm. Six
Flags is closed from February to April. So, get ready to have loads of fun and excitement at
Six Flags Great America.
