ANNOUNCEMENTS Here is today’s Sunday school schedule: We are delighted to welcome Travis Gale of “Wallaby Tales” and “Eyes of the Wild” to Christ Church this morning. Travis is a biologist and educator, who delights audience member of all ages with his LEAP programs on mammals, in which he encourages participants to Learn, Enjoy, Advocate and Protect wildlife. Travis will lead our children’s message in worship and then introduce the children to more animals in Sunday school. June 10 and 17 will be family worship services, with nursery care, and our 2 and 3 year-old class, but no Sunday school for older children. On June 24, we will start our summer Sunday camp program, “Passport to Adventure” for children ages 4-12. This summer, we’ll spend time in the air-conditioned computer lab, playing computer adventure games. Today we will have coffee hour right outside the sanctuary on Springfield Avenue. Please join us for iced tea or coffee after the service. Welcome to our new members! Yoga schedule for June and July: On Mondays at 7pm there is an open class for Adults and Youth at Christ Church! All of the proceeds go to support our youth service projects in upstate New York and Nicaragua. We will have class on June 4th, 18th, 25th & July 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th. *Notice that we will not have class on June 11th* Youth Sunday is coming up on June 10th. Please encourage your High School and Middle School students to come out on Sunday nights from 5pm-6:30pm to help plan. The last planning sessions are June 3 at 5 pm and June 9 at 11:30 am. You did a good job of bringing in food for the Mission 1 campaign so I hope you can continue. Please bring food to the church and place it into the boxes in the Atrium, for the June 3, 10, and 17 Sundays. There is a poster detailing the food needs, no soda or chips please, but healthy food in cans, boxes or in non plastic containers (no glass containers please). I will be unable to bring the food collected to the Food Bank on June 4. I would love to have someone volunteer to do it. I will collect the food after the June 17 Church picnic.
