Best time to visit Central Europe:
Based on the prices we can divide it to three seasons + peak seasons. Generally the seasons are the following:
Low season:
November, December, January, February, March
Middle season:
April, July, August
High season:
May, June, September, October
Based on the weather conditions we can say that it almost seems the same as based on the prices. Of course to visit
the cities the most comfortable seasons are the spring and the early autumn, but it does not mean that area can not
entertain in the other seasons.
The spring is the most beautiful season with blooming, colors, sunshine and comfortable weather to visit the cities.
Explore the Easter Market in Prague, take a boat trip from Budapest on the river Danube or walk around Vienna in
the famous Vienna Woods.
The early autumn is very busy period, after the hot summer the cities fill up again with visitors who can admire the
colors of the leaves and take long walks.
In summer sometimes the weather is hot, but you can cool down in one of our spas and baths, as Budapest has a very
good supply of these facilities. For example in Hungary you will find central Europe’s largest lake, the Balaton where
you can enjoy your vacation while in winter season Budapest and Vienna offers Christmas shows, a different face
with incredible amount of lights in the whole city, plus a lot of well-known Christmas markets.
