racy Schuetz of Newbury Park, California, was looking for an opportunity that would
allow her to remain present in her children’s lives while building an income to relieve stress
from her husband. Then, she found Arbonne!
When I was earning my bachelor’s in business administration, I thought it would be fun to wear a suit, work in an office, and have a great
paycheck. Well, it was until — I was working in Recruiting & Relocation at a large biotech firm when my job was outsourced right before my first
child was born. It turned out that having the opportunity to stay at home with her was the biggest blessing in disguise.
Before this business found me, we were living paycheck to paycheck. My husband, Wayne, had a great job as a fire firefighter, but there never
seemed to be enough money left at the end of the month, and never any extra to get ahead. He was working massive amounts of overtime just
to makes ends meet. We had a vision for what we wanted our life to look like, and years were going by with no change.
When I was introduced to the Arbonne Opportunity, the person giving the presentation asked, “Where will you be in five years if you keep doing
what you are doing?” Frankly, we didn’t have enough room left on our credit cards for five more years like this. I also thought, what would
happen to me and the kids if something happened to my husband? I wanted to be able to provide for them and keep our home.
I didn’t know if Arbonne would be my answer, but I couldn’t imagine a life where I tried to work my family around my job, just barely getting
home in time to rush through dinner, bath and bed time. The thought of going back into an office and leaving my children turned my stomach
in knots. I tried to find something that was comparable to the qualities I heard about that were offered with having an Arbonne business —
working from home on your own schedule, leveraging your time by building a team, and the ability to earn a generous income. Other network

marketing options boasted those qualities, but none were comparable to the
quality of ingredients, marketplace demand, variety of product lines, and
consumable nature of Arbonne products. So, I jumped in and started my journey.
The saying “Most people overestimate what they can do in one year, and
underestimate what they can do in five years,” really held true for me. Earning a
few hundred bucks extra a month right off the bat was really fun, but I was looking
for more. I made it to District Manager in my first two months and felt
unstoppable! I thought I would be at the VP level within the first year. Clearly, I
had some important lessons to learn before that day would come.
SUCCESS STRATEGY
“Your future success will be
created by your current vision,
courage, and perseverance.”
My mentor, Cecilia Stoll, said, “There are only two qualities you need to succeed
in this business — work hard and don’t quit.” That really stuck with me, so that’s
what I did! I persevered “until.”
I spent a lot of time in personal development and learning from the leaders who
went before me. They say “belief has a sound”, meaning you can hear it in
someone’s voice when they feel really passionate about something. I heard the
word “no” more times than I can remember, but I didn’t let it stop me. I had a
vision of why I was doing this business and what I wanted for my family and me.
My vision, coupled with courage and perseverance, propelled me through any
setbacks.
I built my business by getting to know people. I meet people every day and
everywhere I go – on vacation, at the gym, at my kids’ practices or school. It’s
always about how I can help them! Could the products help them? Do they need

the opportunity like I did? Most times I am working in my workout clothes, in the
local coffee shop, or on the ball field. I love the choices this business offers me.
It took me three and a half years to reach Regional Vice President and exceed my
prior full-time career salary. Then seven years to Executive National Vice
President to far exceed the income I was making. Honestly, the choices and
freedom I have would be worth it no matter how long it took.
Having an Arbonne business creates a level playing field for all because with a
little sweat equity and consistent effort in selling products and building a team,
you have the opportunity to earn a generous income. It’s absolutely genius!

Our products can help people live a healthier lifestyle, have more confidence, and
feel incredible. Offering the Arbonne Opportunity to others can have an even
greater impact. Whether it’s helping a parent stay at home with their kids, get out
of a job they hate, or have extra money for a favorite charity. One of the greatest
gifts is that I’ve been able to impact others.
Arbonne enriches my life in so many ways. Besides being backed by a
phenomenal company, I am blessed with new friendships, professional growth,
great leadership and an exciting opportunity that I am proud to be a part of. I can
fit this business into the nooks and crannies of my day on my own schedule. If I
can do this, anyone with a desire to change their life and a big enough reason to
make it happen can too.

The true gift of Arbonne was not only for me to be able to stay at home, but it
enabled us to bring my husband home to be with his family as well! He still enjoys
his job, but has been able to reduce his schedule almost in half, which has
provided the balance we needed. He now has the time to take care of himself and
do more with what he is passionate about.
To my husband, Wayne: Thanks for your unwavering support, encouragement,
and willingness to be my partner as we build our dream life and future together.
Because of my Arbonne business, we are able to make the choices we want, be
present at home with the kids, and go on some wild adventures!
To my children, Emma and Ethan: I’m so glad Arbonne has allowed me to do my
work around being your mom — as being your mom is my first priority! I love
spending time with you, watching you play sports, traveling, and seeing the
happiness on your faces with every new adventure or everyday moment. To my
parents: Thank you for your unconditional love and support. It means the world to
me!

your hearts for serving others. You have already impacted so many lives and I
know you are not stopping here. The best is yet to come!
