Research Task
“No legs, no arms, no worries” is the motto of a very inspiring Australian man named
Nick Vujicic who has taken his gifts; for motivational speaking, His winning smile, his
incredible courage, his Christian faith and love out into the world to share with
others. History’s pages are full of inspirational people who have recognised their
particular gifts and have set about using them (often in the face of adversity) to serve
others.
Anne Frank was a young teenage girl forced into hiding with her family during World
War 2. Her family were Jewish and forced into hiding from the Nazi Party so they
would not be separated and sent to concentration camps and killed. During this time
she was in hiding in an attic room, Anne kept a diary detailing her thoughts and
feelings. Little did she know that the thoughts of her 15 year old self would become
one of the most famous of published diaries. Her published diary has inspired many
people with her bravery and resilience during times of extreme hardship.
Anne Frank wrote:
“How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to
improve the world.”

YOURSELF. IT WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH SOME INSIGHT INTO WHAT
MOTIVATES AND PROVIDES MEANING FOR OTHERS IN THEIR SEARCH FOR
